iUzbekistan.travel contract with you

It is our intention to set out clearly and simply the responsibilities which we at iUzbekistan.travel have to you and which you, in turn, have to us when a contract is made between us. A contract will exist as soon as we issue a confirmation invoice in response to your booking and you send us a confirmation e-mail or fax confirming your booking. On our part we have obligations to provide you with the tour you have booked on the terms clearly stated below. Your contract is entered into with iUzbekistan.travel (Uzbekistan) Private Tour Company.

Bookings: Please choose your tour, departure date, hotel grade and meal plan to match your requirements. For best tour selection, reservations should be made at least 45 days prior to departure. Limited space is available up to a few days before departure, and may result in less satisfactory tour arrangements due to lack of hotel or space availability in a particular hotel or tour segment.

Last minute bookings: Depending on space availability, bookings can be made up to the date of departure. For bookings within 45 days, we will begin checking tour availability ONLY if we have guarantee of payment (credit card number).

Rates & Taxes: All prices quoted are per person and shown in United States currency. It should be understood that the rates in this brochure include our administration, planning and operational expenses. All rates include provincial sales and goods and services taxes. All rates are subject to change without notice.

Children's rates: Children's rates are available upon request.

Deposit: iUzbekistan.travel may require a deposit of 10% (but not less than $120 or greater than $250) on a per person basis. Special event deposits may vary based on event.

Payment: Final payment for the tour can be done at our head office, in the currency of issued invoice.

Documentation: Documents will be sent from our office 14 days prior to departure. If a late booking does not allow us to provide you with travel documents prior to your departure, they will be available from our representative at the point of arrival on your day of travel. All rush and/or overnight deliveries within the 14 days will incur an added surcharge at the customer's expense.

Changes to reservation: If you wish to make any changes to your reservation after confirmation, we will do our utmost to satisfy your requirements. For changes that result in a reduction of services and/or for changes within 14 days, a charge of $35 per booking will be applied. If your change results in cancellation of any services and iUzbekistan.travel incurs charges, these charges will be applied to you or to your account.

Accommodation: iUzbekistan.travel does not guarantee any type of hotel bedding accommodations. All properties are contracted on a "run of the house" basis, which means you will have a standard room which may be located in any part of the hotel. Hotel management makes all room assignments, and iUzbekistan.travel has no control over which room you will receive. If the requested hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute hotel accommodations of a similar grade. Special requests will be communicated to hotel management; however, accommodations may not be possible. It is standard policy that hotel rooms are not available for check-in before 2:00 p.m. and check-out times are between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Disabilities: iUzbekistan.travel does not discriminate against persons on the basis of disability. iUzbekistan.travel requires that if you have any medical, physical and/or other requirements, these be brought to the attention of the representative when booking your reservations.

Meals: Tours will include meals only when specified.

Cancellations/refunds (non-special events): All cancellations must be received in writing to iUzbekistan.travel and are subject to the following cancellation penalties.
Cancellations received within 45 days of departure - deposits forfeited.
Cancellations received within 30 days of departure will incur a penalty of 25% per person.
Cancellations received within 15 days of departure will incur a penalty of 50% per person.
Cancellations received within 7 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable.
No shows forfeit entire payment.

Cancellation responsibility: iUzbekistan.travel reserves the right to cancel all or part of the tour in its reasonable discretion. If iUzbekistan.travel cancels the entire tour, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid. If iUzbekistan.travel cancels a portion of the tour due to weather or other reasons beyond its control, there will be no refund. For other partial cancellations by iUzbekistan.travel, you will receive a refund for the value of the cancelled portion, a value to be determined by iUzbekistan.travel in a fair and equitable manner.

Seating/baggage: Motor coach seating is not reserved or assigned. iUzbekistan.travel will not be liable for any loss, or delay of, or damage to baggage while not in its care. Nor will it assume any liability for any loss, delay or damage to breakable or perishable items, medicine, or other valuables. iUzbekistan.travel assumes no liability for property you may leave unattended in the passenger compartment of the coach either during or at the conclusion of the tour. All baggage must fit in the compartment of the coach. All baggage claims are subject to applicable tariffs.

Company policy liability: The purchase of a iUzbekistan.travel package or any portion thereof constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions and limitations as to liabilities set forth herein. iUzbekistan.travel has made arrangements for the tour services described in this brochure. The carriers providing transportation services (other than iUzbekistan.travel), hotels and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not the agents, employees or servants of, or joint ventures with iUzbekistan.travel or it affiliates. All certificates and other travel documents for tour services issued by iUzbekistan.travel are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. All vouchers, coupons, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by these suppliers.

By agreeing to utilize the services of iUzbekistan.travel, the tour participant agrees that neither iUzbekistan.travel or its affiliates, nor its or their employees or agents, shall be liable for any delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from the act or omission of iUzbekistan.travel or its affiliates, or its or their employees or agents. Further, the tour participant agrees that neither iUzbekistan.travel nor its affiliates, nor its or their employees or agents, shall be liable for any damage, loss, claim, cost or expense arising out of personal injury, accident or death, loss, damage or delay of baggage or other property, resulting from: (1) The act or omission on the part of any person other than iUzbekistan.travel or its employees; (2) Acts of God, sickness, theft, labor disputes, mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather, or any other cause beyond iUzbekistan.travel's direct control.

No person, other than a representative of iUzbekistan.travel authorized by a document in writing may vary, add or waive any term or condition in this brochure, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions. Written notice of any claim against iUzbekistan.travel must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after the date that services were provided to a tour participant.
